Heartless Bastards at the Downtown Dayton Revival in Dayton, Ohio
I am excited to cover several shows this weekend. I will kick off the festivities with the formerly from the ‘Nati (now based in Austin) rockers Heartless Bastards as they storm into town for two sold-out shows at the Southgate House Revival in Newport, Ky.
SassafraZ at the Newport Music Hall – Columbus, Ohio
We will then be hustling over to Covington, Ky. to catch the last three acts of Frazzletown at the Madison Theater. Hoping to make part of Magic Jackson and definitely want to see funkmasters SassafraZ – who are nominated for a Cincinnati Entertainment Award Sunday.
That leads up nicely to my final foray of the weekend as I will be hitting up the CEAs at the 20th Century Theater in Cincinnati, where I will be in the presence of the best of the best in Cincinnati music. Very excited and honored to be a part of this big moment for a lot of great local bands.
